Chong SB Dunk High

The Authority in Sneaker News brings you a great weekly recap from all the top stories of the past seven days, so let’s get started! Kicking off this Weekly Rewind is all the top Air Jordan news, which included a look at a number of 2011 Playoff PE’s, the upcoming Air Jordan V Quai 54, and the 2011 Retro of the Black/Cement III. Nike SB also made some news with the release of the Cheech & Chong SB Dunk High and the launch of the official Nike SB Facebook Fanpage. Kobe, LeBron, and Rajon Rondo, all occupied with postseason games, debuted some new colorways and PEs, and we also brought you a complete look at what the players were wearing in our NBA Feet features. The biggest news from the NBA outside of sneakers was the naming of Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin as the league’s MVP and ROY (respectively). Celebrities came out in full force, with a nice gathering of celebs clad in Jordans at a party in NYC.

Nike Hyperfuse meets Nike Sportswear as we got a look at the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Force 1 High, and Dunk High with Fuse implementation. Swizz Beats’ collaboration with Reebok has been one of the biggest stories of the year, but this week he dropped images of an all-new design that has great high-end/lifestyle appeal. The Supra Skytop III also fits into that category, and we got a look at the third Skytop design in a black/white colorway. A new sneaker consignment shop opened its doors in New York City, boasting an impressive selection of sneakers, watches, and other gear, and we also got a look at three separate collections that could very well have been its own consignment shop stocklist. And finally, with all of the great attention and publicity given to the ShoeZeum, Jordan Geller put up ‘Golden Ticket’ auctions on eBay, in which five winning bidders receive tours of the ShoeZeum with all the winning proceeds going to the LIVESTRONG charity. There’s plenty more to see below so don’t miss out on this mammoth week of Sneaker News!
